Description en: Genus of 5 species of evergreen, epiphytic, monopodial orchids from the Himalayas to S.E. Asia and the Philippines. They have upright stems and 2-ranked, rigid, linear or strap-shaped leaves. They are grown for their axillary racemes of numerous brightly coloured flowers, 1-2cm (1/2-3/4in) across, borne in spring and summer.
