Description (Japanese): 耐寒性宿根草。４〜５月開花、碧紫色で中心部は赤紫色。草丈20〜30cm。ムーディーブルーの名前で流通することもある。シバザクラとほぼ同様の栽培で良いが、横に広がることはない。年々大株に育つ。株分けや挿し芽で容易に殖やせる。（ミヨシのパンフレット）
