Description (Japanese): 肉厚の葉をつける秋植えの半耐寒性（–5℃）球根植物。4月ごろ、パイナップルリリーやヒアシンスのような花茎に多くの紫色の花をつける。個体により葉の斑点の有無があり、また花茎全体に花がつくものと花茎上部につくものがある。香りはない。
