Description (Japanese): 小型のリュウゼツランで、葉は線形、先端は鋭い棘になり、葉縁には白いカールした毛がつく。子株をよく出し、株立ちになる。–5℃程度の低温に耐える。過湿では根腐れするが、他のリュウゼツランよりも乾燥に強くないので、水はけの良い土に植えて夏は週２回、冬は月に２回程度を目安に灌水する。
