Description (Japanese): 英名のrain lilyのように、夏の降雨後しばらくして開花することが多い。１つの花茎に１個の花をやや横向きにつける。花は桃色で、個体によって濃さが異なる。本種はハブランサス属だったが、ハブランサス属がタマスダレ属に含まれることが判明したので、学名が変更された。展示個体は本種と思われるが、雑種由来の品種の可能性もある。
