Description en: Genus of a single species of clump-forming perennial from mountain woodland in Japan. It produces 2- or 3-ternate leaves with lobed or sharply toothed leaflets, and bears racemes or loose panicles of pendent, lilac and violet flowers. Grow A. macrophylla in a woodland garden or peat garden, or in a shady border.
