Comment ja: POWOではアメリカ産の4種、Z. colombiana, Z. cotinifolia, Z. guaranitica, Z. melastomoides がまだZiziphusになっているが、これらはアメリカ産Conalma, Condaliopsis, Sarcomphalus のいずれかであり、Ziziphusの分布は旧世界に限られると思われる。種数64はPOWOの68からこれら4種を引いたもの。
