description_en: Genus of about 15 species of small, evergreen, epiphytic orchids from Brazil, occurring in forest areas at an altitude of around 1,500m (5,000ft). They produce oval pseudobulbs with 1-3 soft-textured, ovate-lance-shaped, light green, apical leaves. Usually yellow or white flowers are borne in ones or twos, rarely more, in short racemes from the bases of the pseudobulbs, mostly in summer and autumn.
