Long panicles of 3-petalled, bell-shaped flowers develop among dense, terminal heads of fan-like leaves. In frost-prone areas, grow young specimens for their foliage, as houseplants, or in a temperate greenhouse or conservatory. In warmer regions, use as specimen trees.
