It has spirally arranged, simple or occasionally lobed leaves, and produces cup-shaped flowers, each with 5 sepals and 5 petals, in small, axillary and terminal cymes. Where temperatures fall below 0°C (32°F), grow in a cool greenhouse. In warmer areas, use in a courtyard garden or border, or plant against a warm, sunny wall.
