description_en: Genus of a single species of woody-stemmed, evergreen tendril climber from woodland in N. South America. It produces opposite pairs of leaves and cyme-like panicles of tubular-bell-shaped flowers, with 5 spreading petal lobes. Where temperatures fall below 10°C (50°F), grow in a temperate or warm greenhouse. In warmer regions, grow over a pergola or arch, or through the branches of a tree.
