description_en: Genus of one species of evergreen perennial from rocky or sandy coasts on Chatham Island, New Zealand. It has thick, fleshy stems and leaves, the latter large, simple, and glossy, and forget-me-not-like flowers. Grow in a peat bed or rock garden; it can be difficult to grow as it needs cool, damp conditions, preferably in a coastal location. In frost-prone areas, grow in a cool greenhouse.
