description_en: Genus of one species of single- or cluster-stemmed palm from rainforest in N.E. Australia. Arching, pinnate leaves are borne in a terminal cluster and die in situ, forming a skirt-like mass below the living crown. Spikes of bowl-shaped, 3-petalled flowers are borne between the leaves. In frost-prone areas, grow in a temperate or warm greenhouse; in warmer areas, grow as a specimen tree.
