Description en: Genus of one species of deciduous, spiny shrub found on salt-rich flood plains from Ukraine to N. and E. Asia. Valued for its silvery foliage and pea-like flowers, it is useful for a shrub border, and is ideal for coastal areas, where it is an effective windbreak.
