Description en: Genus of one species of evergreen tree or shrub found in moist forests in the mountains of Chile. Grown for its attractive, alternate, pinnate or 2-pinnate leaves and its white summer flowers, it thrives outdoors only in relatively mild, moist climates, where it is best planted in sheltered woodland. Elsewhere, grow in a cool greenhouse.
