description_en: Genus of one species of dwarf, tufted perennial, closely related to Alyssum, occurring in dry, rocky areas in the E. Mediterranean and Turkey. It has basal rosettes of oblong to lance-shaped leaves, terminal cymes of cross-shaped flowers, and inflated seed pods. C. vesicarius is suitable for an alpine house or scree bed. In cool, damp areas, seed pods are more reliably produced in an alpine house.
