description_en: Genus of one species of semi-climbing, deciduous shrub occurring in rocky areas, river-gravels, and maritime sands in the E. Mediterranean. It is grown for its fragrant flowers. In frost-prone climates, grow in a cool conservatory or greenhouse; elsewhere, use outdoors against a sunny wall. Contact with the latex exuded by cut leaves and stems may irritate skin, and may cause severe discomfort if ingested.
