Description en: Genus, related to Colchicum, of 2 species of cormous perennials from alpine meadows and dry grassland in S. and E. Europe. The funnel-shaped flowers, each with a single style, divided at the tip, and 6 free, clawed tepals, are borne in spring, just before or with the linear to lance-shaped, dark green leaves. Grow in a rock garden, or naturalize in turf.

Propagation en: Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in autumn or spring. Remove offsets in summer.
Pests en: Trouble free.
Description ja: 一部の種はGageaに移動している。ホモニムのBulbocodium Gronov., Bulbocodium Ludw. ex Kuntze（いずれも現在はRomulea）が存在するので、注意。
