A. frankliniae is not often cultivated, yet is attractive both for its aromatic, opposite, 3-palmate leaves and for its panicles of 5-petalled flowers, which are borne in late spring on the previous year’s growth. In frost-prone areas, grow in a cool greenhouse; in frost-free areas, grow in a shrub border.
