They have opposite, usually oblong to elliptic or obovate, toothed or lobed leaves, and are grown for their daisy-like yellow flowerheads, borne either singly or in few-headed clusters in summer. In frost-prone areas, grow as houseplants, or in a warm greenhouse, or use outdoors in summer in containers. In warmer areas, W. trilobata is a rampant ground-cover plant, and is also useful for growing in dry shade under trees.
