description_en: Genus of 3 species of evergreen shrubs and woody-based perennials found in scrub and open woodland in Australia. The alternate, linear to elliptic leaves are simple and glandular. The usually solitary, sometimes paired, axillary or terminal, star-shaped flowers have 5 wide, spreading petals. In frost-prone areas, grow in a cool greenhouse or conservatory; in warmer climates, use in a shrub border or courtyard garden.
