Distribution en: Peru to S. Brazil and S. South America
Description en: Genus of 20 species of perennials with basal, entire to pinnatifid leaves and axillary, 5- to 6-lobed, tubular or bell-shaped flowers, which are solitary or borne in few-flowered cymes. Most species occur in arid areas of South America. J. integrifolia, the only species commonly seen in cultivation, is suitable for a warm, dry site.
