Description en: Genus of 5-15 species of evergreen, woody-stemmed climbers from tropical woodland in Africa, Madagascar, and Asia. They are grown for their strongly perfumed, waxy, tubular, usually white flowers, each with 5 spreading lobes, borne in short-stalked, axillary cymes. Leaves are opposite, ovate to elliptic, and leathery. Where temperatures fall below 15°C (59°F), grow in a warm greenhouse or as houseplants. In warmer areas, train over a pergola or on a wall.
