They are grown for their funnel-shaped, sweetly fragrant flowers, which have 5 petal lobes, borne singly or in small, terminal and axillary clusters. Leaves are simple, entire, and arranged in opposite pairs. In frost-prone areas, grow in a cool or temperate greenhouse. In warmer climates, train over an arbour, pergola or arch, or against a wall.
