description_en: Genus of 3 species of evergreen, twining, perennial climbers from S.E. Asia, S. North America, and Central America, usually found in woodland. They are grown for their funnel-shaped, sweetly fragrant flowers, which have 5 petal lobes, borne singly or in small, terminal and axillary clusters. Leaves are simple, entire, and arranged in opposite pairs. In frost-prone areas, grow in a cool or temperate greenhouse. In warmer climates, train over an arbour, pergola or arch, or against a wall.
