description_en: Genus of about 95 species of evergreen shrubs from Australia, occurring on sandy heaths in scrub and light woodland. They are valued for their 4-petalled, cup- or bell-shaped, some-times fragrant flowers, borne singly or in cymes or umbels. The opposite, lance-shaped to ovate, simple or compound leaves are often aromatic. In frost-prone areas, grow in a cool greenhouse and move outdoors during frost-free periods. In frost-free areas, grow in a border.
