Leaves are alternate and pinnate, with linear to nearly rounded leaflets. Sennas are cultivated for their yellow or rarely white, pea-like flowers, borne in terminal or axillary racemes, corymbs, or panicles. In frost-prone climates, grow in a temperate or warm greenhouse. In frost-free areas, grow in a shrub border.
