description_en: Genus of 2 species of twining, woody-based, herbaceous, perennial climbers found in rocky areas and woodland in Mexico and Central America. The leaves are triangular to broadly ovate, some-times heart-shaped at the bases, and sometimes 5-lobed. Solitary, trumpet-shaped blooms are borne in the leaf axils throughout summer and autumn. Use to clothe a trellis, or grow against a wall. In frost-prone areas, grow in a cool greenhouse or outdoors as annuals.
