Petunia axillaris (Lam.) Britton, Stern & Poggenb. subsp. parodii

やや短命な多年草で、春から霜が降りるまで白い花を咲かせる。高さ30〜100cm程度。P. axillarisは３亜種に分類されていて、亜種parodiiはウルグアイ北部、アルゼンチンのコリエンテス・チャコ・フォルモーサ州からパラグアイに分布する。他の２亜種の雄ずいが長2本、中2本、短1本なのに対し本亜種は長4本、短1本である。

Distribution range: Paraguay to Argentina (Formosa, Chaco, Corrientes), N. Uruguay
